Help us shrink the digital divide
Thanks to a new partnership between the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Sonoma County, the City of Santa Rosa, Mawson Computer Center Inc and SirReale Productions; a new program has been establishing to collect surplus computer systems, refurbish them, and then teach members of the community on how to use them.
This course is free of cost to qualifing students. During this course students will learn the basics of computer usage. Such as connecting all necessary components, creating an email account, how to write a resume, and much more. Upon graduation students recieve a system to continue the learning process at home.
How do I or someone I know enroll?
For more information about how to qualify to receive the training, call Malinalli Lopez with the City of Santa Rosa at 543-4332.
How do I donate a computer(s)?
If you have a computer(s) that you no longer use, instead of taking it to be RECYCLED, please donate it and have it REFURBISHED and REUSED. Please call Juan M. Hernandez with Mawson Computer Center at 707-528-2841.
